On June 6th and 7th, San Diego held Paddle for Peace paddle outs in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. I made it out to the Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach ones and others were held in La Jolla and Encinitas. These were powerful and beautiful to see our surf community come together to have a dialogue and peacefully demonstrate unity and a call for justice across the nation.
